
SCOUT MOTORS
The International Scout was a legendary off-road vehicle that captured the hearts and minds of car enthusiasts worldwide even after its factories closed in 1980. When Volkswagen acquired the brand and began plans to relaunch it as an electric alternative for a new era of trucks and SUVs, we were presented with an exciting opportunity to tell a unified, anthemic story about the brand’s history, the launch of a new multi-billion dollar factory in South Carolina, and the introduction of two all-new EV models.
As a creative and copywriting partner to Scout's in-house creative team, this project was an exciting blend of in-depth research, strategic brand building, and a voiceover script that provided an essential foundation for this work and the next chapter of lore across this storied brand.
